Office in oak and glass, Eaux Vives, Geneva
Modern office design using reclaimed oak in a barn in the canton of Geneva. Eco platform bed, Arzier, Vaud
Our customers wanted an eco-friendly bed platform for their son’s room. The submission called for the construction of natural solid wood and the use of low VOC (volatile organic compounds) adhesives and finishes. The massive timbers used are all FSC-accredited native hardwoods: French bed frame and ladder; library in Swiss beech. We used natural oils for wood finishing and water-based eco-line white paint on the visible underside. Natural solid wood is an ideal material for furniture construction if you are concerned about VOC levels in your home, interesting article on the website: US Environmental Protection Agency

Oak Buffet, Champel, Geneva
Our customers have thought about the design before commissioning a sideboard for their living room. Their requirements included solid wood: European oak, four doors (two sliding and two standard hinged) but without handles for a modern look. The dimensions were specific and had to accommodate their high-end hi-fi system on one side as well as books / cd’s etc on the other. They wanted oiled finish to bring out the natural qualities of this beautiful wood. Finally, the furniture must offer the possibility of being dismountable when they move.
